The Needle Trek

The Needle Trek (Te Rua Manga) is the most iconic, adventurous, and visually spectacular hike on Rarotonga, Cook Islands. Standing as a dramatic 413-metre volcanic plug rising out of the lush interior jungle, it offers unmatched panoramic views of the island's jagged ridges and turquoise reefs. The trail can be approached either as a standalone out-and-back return hike to the base of the rock or as part of the famous Cross-Island Track.
