Te Manga Trek

Te Manga is the highest peak in the Cook Islands, standing at 652 metres (2,139 feet) above sea level on the island of Rarotonga. Unlike the popular Cross-Island Track to Te Rua Manga (The Needle), the Te Manga trek is an extremely challenging, unmaintained, and highly technical scramble reserved for experienced hikers with excellent fitness and a tolerance for heights. It is highly recommended to hire an experienced local guide.
