Sunday Church Services (Mangaia)

Sunday church services on Mangaia are central to the island's community life, with most main services starting at 10:00 AM. The Cook Islands Christian Church (CICC) is the most prominent denomination on the island, operating beautiful historic white limestone churches across the three main villages. Visitors are warmly welcomed to join the local congregations to experience the incredible, powerful traditional choir singing (imēne tuki).
