About Phillip Island
Phillip Island is a rugged, uninhabited volcanic sanctuary located 6 kilometres south of Norfolk Island in the Southwest Pacific Ocean. Often referred to as the "Uluru of the South Pacific" due to its striking, multi-coloured red, purple, and yellow ochre soils, it spans 190 hectares and forms part of the protected Norfolk Island National Park. Visitors can only land by booking an escorted day trek with a licensed local operator.
