The Arches

The Arches is a heritage-listed convict-era ruin located on Rocky Point Road (near Bumbora Road) in the former Longridge settlement of southwestern Norfolk Island. Standing slightly apart from the main Kingston UNESCO World Heritage site, this large, dramatic stone structure is famous both for its beautiful craftsmanship and for being an enduring archaeological mystery. It is entirely free to visit and walk around.
