About Ta’ahiamanu Beach
Ta’ahiamanu Beach (also known as Plage de Ta'ahiamanu or Mareto Beach) is one of the few completely free, public access beaches on the stunning island of Moorea in French Polynesia. Located on the northern coast right at the entrance of scenic Opunohu Bay, it is famous for its exceptionally calm, drift-free lagoon waters, lively marine ecosystem, and a dramatic, lush volcanic mountain backdrop. Keep in mind that security strictly closes the public park space at 5:30 PM.
