Port Moresby (Bomana) War Cemetery

The Port Moresby (Bomana) War Cemetery is the largest and most significant World War II military cemetery in Papua New Guinea. Located approximately 19 kilometres north of the capital city, Port Moresby, along Pilgrims Way, it serves as a deeply moving resting place for thousands of Allied forces who lost their lives fighting.
