About Siri Waterfall
Siri Waterfall, formerly known as Santa Maria Waterfall, is the highest waterfall in Vanuatu, boasting a magnificent single-drop plunge of 120 metres (390 feet). Located deep in the rainforest of remote Gaua Island in the northern Torba Province, this powerful cascade discharges an immense volume of roughly 5,000 litres of water per second. Reaching Siri Waterfall is an off-the-beaten-path adventure that requires excellent stamina and physical fitness. Because the trails twist through dense terrain and require careful navigation, booking a local guide is mandatory.
