Million Dollar Point

Million Dollar Point is a world-famous underwater graveyard and dive site located on the island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu, where millions of dollars worth of US military equipment was deliberately dumped at the end of World War II. Today, it functions as a unique artificial reef system where coral and tropical marine life thrive among submerged tanks, trucks, jeeps, and bulldozers. Depths range from shallow shoreline areas starting right off the beach down to about 25 meters (82 feet), making it accessible for both snorkelers and scuba divers. It is an easy shore dive or swim from the beach, with a small local entry fee (around 500 Vatu) for maintenance and facilities.
