Utakalongalu Market

The 'Utukalongalu Market (often spelled Utakalongalu) is the main open-air market in Neiafu, the principal town of the Vava'u island group in the Kingdom of Tonga. Located on the waterfront right near the Halaevalu Wharf (main wharf), it serves as a central hub where local farmers, artisans, and fishmongers gather to trade. Tongan vendors generally do not barter or haggle, so expect to pay the marked price. The market operates Monday to Friday from roughly 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM.
